Coventry Cathedral Ruins

Coventry Cathedral Ruins

One of the most iconic places to visit in Coventry is the Cathedral Ruins. Here you can see the striking contrast between the newer modern cathedral and the old one, which creates some dramatic photo opportunities. The site carries a lot of history, so a picture here can often speak a thousand words. You can capture many details in the architecture in the ruins, but it is important to be respectful when taking pictures in the space.

You can also climb the cathedral tower to get a breathtaking 360˚ view of Coventry. There is no better place to capture the city in a panoramic shot for Instagram. The view is perfect for a range of photography styles, including capturing the Coventry skyline and wide-angle photos.

In spring, the colourful flower beds and blossoming trees add a pop of colour that looks amazing in pictures.

The park is filled with tree-lined paths and green spaces, so there are plenty of photo opportunities in and around the park.
